About the practice

Advocate Chaudhary

The practice was built around a simple observation: most people meet a lawyer for the first time when they are already frightened, and are then handed a bill and a Latin phrase. That is a poor way to make one of the more consequential decisions of your life.

So the work here starts with translation. What the notice says, what the other side is likely to do, what a court can and cannot give you, and what it will cost to find out. Only then do we talk about filing anything.

Areas of practice

Nine areas of practice, one standard of care.

Handled with discretion and without escalation. Where a mutual settlement is possible, that comes first.

  • Mutual consent and contested divorce
  • Maintenance and alimony
  • Restitution and judicial separation
  • Dowry and cruelty complaints
  • Settlement and mediation
Settlement explored first

The first forty-eight hours matter more than anything that follows. Call before you do anything else.

  • Regular and anticipatory bail
  • Quashing of FIRs and proceedings
  • Trial, cross-examination, arguments
  • Cheque bouncing under Section 138
  • Appeals and revisions
Same-day on urgent matters

Land matters turn on paper. The chain of title is traced before anything is filed.

  • Title verification before you buy
  • Partition of ancestral land
  • Encroachment and possession
  • Builder delay and RERA
  • Mutation and registry corrections
Title search first

Disputes between private parties where the remedy is money, possession or an order restraining someone.

  • Recovery and summary suits
  • Temporary and permanent injunctions
  • Landlord, tenant and eviction
  • Consumer complaints
Starts with a legal notice

Money lost to online fraud is easiest to trace in the first hours. Report it on the 1930 helpline, then call.

  • Online, UPI and card fraud complaints
  • Bank accounts frozen in cyber investigations
  • Cyber cell follow-up and recovery
  • Identity theft and online harassment
  • Social media and data misuse
Act within hours

Disputes inside a family are resolved quietly wherever possible, and firmly where they cannot be.

  • Custody, guardianship, visitation
  • Succession, wills and probate
  • Disputes over family property
  • Domestic violence proceedings
  • Maintenance of parents and seniors
Discussed in private

The cheapest hour you will spend on a lawyer is the one before you sign.

  • Company and LLP formation, compliance
  • Shareholder and partner disputes
  • Vendor, service and employment contracts
  • Recovery of commercial dues
  • Review of the other side's draft
Fixed fee for drafting

A great many disputes end at the notice stage, without a court ever being involved.

  • Demand notices
  • Replies to a notice you received
  • Second opinion on a running case
  • One-off advice, no obligation
Drafted in two working days

Government paperwork stalls on small details. We follow it through the right offices until it is done.

  • Registrations, licences and approvals
  • Sub-registrar, mutation and land records
  • Follow-up on complaints already filed
  • Attestation and certified copies

Within 24 hours
II

You get a plan and a price

Your options, the timeline for each and what they cost — in writing, before anything is filed.

Before you commit

Through the matter
IV
What you can count on

The part most people worry about.

Four commitments that hold from the first phone call to the last hearing.

Confidential advice

Protected by advocate–client privilege from the first conversation, whether or not you engage.

Personal attention

The person who heard your account reads the file, drafts it and stands up in court. No chain of juniors.

Straight guidance

Some cases are not worth running. You hear that before you have spent money finding out.

Focused on your rights

Every step is measured against one test: does this improve your position? If not, it is not filed.

Talk to us

Don't wait for a problem to find a lawyer.

Most matters are cheaper, quieter and faster to fix early. If you are unsure whether yours is worth a call, it usually is.

Opens WhatsApp with your message ready to send. No sign-in on this site, and nothing is stored here. Prefer to talk? Call 97735 61675 or 92179 81985.

Before you call

Questions people ask first.

The initial conversation, where we work out whether you have a matter at all and what your options are, is free. If the work goes further, fees are agreed in writing before anything is filed.

Anything on paper: the notice or FIR, the agreement, receipts, messages, and identity proof. Photographs on your phone are fine. If you have nothing, come anyway — your own account of events is a start.

Call the 1930 cyber fraud helpline or file on the national cyber crime portal straight away, and inform your bank. Keep screenshots of every message and transaction. Then call us — the first few hours decide how much can be frozen and recovered.

It depends on the forum and on the other side. You will be given a realistic range at the outset rather than an optimistic one, along with the points where the timeline could shift.

Often, yes — through a properly drafted notice, a negotiated settlement or mediation. Where that route is available and sensible, it will be recommended first.

Yes. Communications with your advocate are privileged, and that holds whether or not you engage the practice afterwards.

Drafting, notices and liaisoning are quoted as a fixed fee. Litigation is normally a fee for the case plus a per-appearance charge, with court fees and expenses billed at actuals. Everything is set out in writing before you agree to it.

The practice is based in Delhi NCR and appears before its district courts, tribunals and the High Court. Clients come from across India: matters elsewhere are handled directly where practical, or alongside a trusted local advocate, and you will be told plainly which.

If someone has been detained, if a possession or demolition date has been fixed, or if a limitation period is about to run out, call 97735 61675 or 92179 81985 rather than write. Say the word urgent at the start and it moves to the top.

We stand for justice. You stand for peace.
